LEARNING FROM NATURE: BIOMIMICRY DESIGN CHALLENGE

For Grades K - 12

Designers, artists, engineers, medical experts, and more draw inspiration from nature every day!

During this in-museum field trip, students will explore innovative examples from MODA’s past and current exhibitions of objects, buildings, fashion, and more inspired by animals, plants, and natural systems, a process called Biomimicry. Students will then create their own innovation inspired by nature using familiar tools like LEGO, Play-Doh, and crafting materials.

Want to schedule this field trip? Please fill out the form by clicking the grey button at the bottom of this page (or by clicking here), and we’ll get back to you right away!
