Digital Art Studio: Architects in Action

Join MODA and design the buildings of the future!

In this virtual studio, young designers will learn to draft and render architectural blueprints and create imaginative designs for unique buildings. Using Medibang Paint Pro, participants will explore the fundamentals of architectural drawing, from perspective and structure to adding creative details that make their designs stand out. The session will begin with an introduction to digital tools and techniques, followed by hands-on time to bring their architectural visions to life. At the end of the studio, students can share their work and receive feedback in a supportive environment.


In This Afterschool Studio, students will . . .

  • Practice using digital tools to create architectural drawings and designs.

  • Use techniques for drafting blueprints and rendering unique building concepts.

  • Experiment with architectural principles, including perspective, scale, and structure.

  • Transform ideas from sketches to digital art.

  • Provide a space to share and provide constructive feedback

  • Practice collaboration, inclusivity, creative courage, imaginative problem-solving, storytelling, and critical thinking

Requirements:

  • A computer or tablet with internet access

  • Zoom

  • MediBang Paint Pro software pre-installed (it’s free!)


    A digital drawing tablet is optional, but it makes for easier creating
