In-person at MODA
This event is being held in-partnership with Atlanta Art Week and Midtown Alliance.
About This Event
Celebrate Atlanta Art Week and immerse yourself in Midtown's vibrant arts scene with Midtown Alliance x MODA, as we host an inspiring discussion about the Midtown Studio Residency.
This unique program invites visionary arts entrepreneurs to infuse their creativity into the heart of Midtown, nurturing the local arts economy while introducing fresh, dynamic talent to the community.
Join us as we celebrate the latest cohort of groundbreaking seven artists, each of whom has been granted a year of free studio space, a generous stipend, and the opportunity to elevate their craft and professional networks.
These artists have not only honed their practices but have also embarked on exciting collaborations that are shaping the cultural landscape of Midtown.
Three of the current residents of Midtown Studio Residency, Sayma Hossain, Kelly Taylor Mitchell, and Masud Olufani will be in conversation to discuss their experience, and process with moderator and 2021-22 alum, Jamaal Barber.
In addition, Midtown Alliance will share insights on how this residency program enriches the area's street life, bringing more art and creativity into the daily lives of Midtowners.
Interested in applying to be part of the next cohort of residents? The last day for applications is September 29.
