About This Event

MODA invites families to blast off into outer space! Young designers will use LEGO® bricks to create rockets, planets, space stations, and more as they imagine what life beyond Earth could look like. Whether building a moon base, an alien planet, or an intergalactic spaceship, kids will explore the wonders of space through hands-on creativity and design. This drop-in program is included with museum admission and offers the flexibility for families to participate at their own pace.

Join us this May for an out-of-this-world adventure at MODA’s Kids Create Saturdays: Space Explorers! Caregivers must accompany children at all times during this event.

During this Kids Create Saturdays, we’ll:

  • Use imagination and design thinking to solve cosmic challenges

  • Encourage creative problem-solving through hands-on experimentation.

  • Inspire young designers to think critically about shapes, patterns, and details.

  • Provide a space where families can connect through play and design.

  • Practice collaboration, inclusivity, creative courage, imaginative problem-solving, and critical thinking

Please note: Caregivers must accompany children at all times.
