Digital Art Studio: Manga Backgrounds & World-Building

Virtual | Ages 12 – 17

Join MODA for a virtual Afterschool Studio and craft manga backgrounds and immersive worlds!

In this virtual studio, young designers will start by reviewing techniques for drawing manga backgrounds for imaginative worlds. Throughout the studio, students will design their manga-style background setting in MediBang Paint by creating a sketch, refining the sketch, and using color as needed to complete the image.

At the end of the session, designers will share their work with the group and practice giving constructive feedback.
