Technology of Tomorrow: Solar Panel Design Workshop

  • Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

In-person at MODA

Ever wondered how solar technology works?

We’re joining forces with IDSA Atlanta to host Krystal Persaud — climate activist, startup veteran, and product design executive — for an exciting hands-on workshop! Krystal will chat about the history of solar panels, the latest trends in the industry, and the science behind harvesting the sun’s magical energy.

Krystal will walk us through a step-by-step tutorial of building a solar panel prototype that can charge a phone. The workshop will end with a sketching session of your own unique solar panel design — cat shaped solar panel, anyone?

Beginners are welcome — no prior electronics experience necessary!
